Paving work included in the widening of U.S. 85 will close the roadway at C-470 from Friday evening through Monday morning, according to Douglas County.
Traffic will be detoured around the section of the Douglas County interchange starting at 8 p.m., with the detour lifting 5 a.m. Monday.
Vehicles on C-470 will also be unable to use the north- and southbound ramps onto U.S. 85 during that time.
The county said in its statement that the expansion of the roadway from four to six lanes and the addition of other improvements from Highlands Ranch Parkway to Dad Clark Gulch, north of the interchange, is expected to cost $108 million.
