Marshall J. Bartlett OBITUARY

Marshall J. Bartlett, 98, of Denver, Colorado, passed away at home May 23, 2025.

Marshall was born in Cañon City, Colorado, in 1926 to Hazel Miller and Marshal Bartlett. He attended school in Cañon City and Denver. He served for two years in the U.S. Navy during WWII and continued in public service with a 30-year career with the Denver Fire Department, retiring as Captain. Marshall was a 32° Mason, member in good standing in Highlands No. 86 and The Scottish Rite Of Freemasonary.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 78 years, Betty, daughters Marsha (Robert Harmon) and Carol (Alan Baxter), grandchildren Chris, Jason, Melissa and Evan, and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held June 11 at Romero Funeral Home, 1805 S. Sheridan Blvd., from 9 to 10 a.m. and at 11 a.m. at Fort Logan, staging area C (enter from the Kenyon Gate). Memorial donations may be given to Shriners Children’s Hospital at lovetotherescue.org, the Denver Firefighters Museum at denverfirefightersmuseum.org, or your charity of choice.
