Westbound Interstate 70 has reopened after it was closed Tuesday near Glenwood Springs for a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The westbound interstate was closed at mile point 109 for the U.S. 6 exit in Chacra, CDOT officials said. The roadway reopened by 2:48 p.m., officials announced on X.com.

Information on the cause of the crash was not available Tuesday.

Traffic was diverted onto U.S. 6 during the closure.
